    • What did you think of the party?
    • What did you get up to at home after the party?
  • What challenges or questions do you face?
  • Conclusion: The wonders of the female and male body

A total of 576 people were reached, including girls, parents, volunteers and community members.

Edward Nyakundi, aged 55, from Kitutu Central Sub-County, Santa Sub-Location, Nyamatuta Clan, during the follow-up visit with the girls on 19 January 2025
“I am very glad that I protected my girls from FGM. In fact, they are doing very well. I made a decision after attending the parents’ workshop and being moved by the consequences of female genital mutilation, and I decided to protect them. I realised that a girl’s uncircumcised genitalia are very important for her future sex life. For me, this is not a challenge. I prepared tea and mandazi for them.”
